Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These terms apply to the game The Pilgrim and to this website, provided by DataQuality, a Brazilian company registered under CNPJ 62.822.067/0001-69. By installing or playing, you agree to them. Please also read the Privacy Policy.
1. The game and your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play The Pilgrim on devices you own or control, for non-commercial use.
The terms of the store you downloaded the game from also apply. On iPhone and iPad, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies; these terms supplement it.
2. Free chapters and one-time purchase
The first 3 chapters are free, with no ads. To continue, you can make a one-time purchase (in the U.S., US$ 9) that unlocks every chapter of Part I, including chapters released later in updates. It is not a subscription and there are no recurring charges.
The final price is shown in the store before you confirm and may vary by country and tax. Payment is handled by the App Store or Google Play under their terms.
3. Restoring your purchase
Your purchase belongs to the Apple or Google account you bought it with. On another device, or after reinstalling, tap “Restore purchases” in the game's Settings with the same account. Purchases do not carry over between stores (for example, from iPhone to Android).
4. Refunds
Because payment is processed by Apple or Google, refunds are requested directly from the store under its rules. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer protection law; if you need help, email contato@playpilgrim.com.br.
5. Updates
We may update the game to fix bugs, improve the experience and release new chapters. New chapters are released over time, with no guaranteed date. Some updates may require a newer operating system version.
6. Content and intellectual property
The original text of The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan (1678) is in the public domain. The Portuguese translation and adaptation, illustrations, music, design and software of the game belong to DataQuality or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, sell or modify the game, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows.
7. Fair use
You may not circumvent the purchase system, distribute modified copies of the game or use it in a way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others. We may suspend your licence if you breach these terms.
8. Liability
We work to make the game run well, but we cannot guarantee it will be error-free on every device. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
10. Changes and contact
If these terms change materially, we will announce it in the game and on this page before the change takes effect. Questions: contato@playpilgrim.com.br.
